Ingredients
  • 4 fillets salmon patted dry with paper towel
  • 1/8 cup Frescolio Maple Dark Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/8 cup real maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • fresh or dried parsley for garnish

  • 1/8 cup Frescolio Maple Dark Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/8 cup real maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions
  1. Combine balsamic vinegar, syrup, soy sauce and garlic powder in a small bowl. Place a spoonful or two of the sauce in the bottom of an oven-proof dish.
  2. Add the salmon to the dish and use the back of a spoon to spread the sauce over the fillets, adding a bit more from the bowl if needed. Retain about half the sauce. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 to 400 degrees. Remove from the oven. Baste the fillets with sauce from the pan and add more sauce from the bowl. Return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
  3. Test for doneness. If more time is needed, add the last of the sauce to the pan and return to the oven for 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle with parsley when plated. Serve with baby potatoes drizzled with Butter EVOO and kale, pan-fried in Varietal EVOO!
