Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon cut into small pieces
- 1 1/2 tbsp Frescolio Mono-Varietal EVOO
- 4 cups red or green cabbage thinly sliced
- 1 Apple chopped
- 1 small yellow onion chopped
- 1/4 cup Frescolio Traditional 18-year Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp honey
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat.
- Add EVOO to the bacon and fat, and stir.
- Add cabbage, apple, and onion. Saute until cabbage is tender-crisp, about 6 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add balsamic vinegar, cook until liquid evaporates and cabbage is tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in honey, adjust seasoning to taste. Cover and keep warm until ready to serve.
